 The Creswell Volleyball Team will be playing November 4th in the State Tournament at 8:00 AM. Our opponent will be Burns. The 3A state tournament is at Forest Grove High School.

Summer Work Outs

*if you have a place to do pull-ups do 10 knees to elbows with each ab workout

* Check out a you tube video called "Proper Volleyball Hitting Technique for Power and Speed" for exercises that will speed up your armswing and help you to hit the volleyball really HARD! 

Start every workout with - Warm- ups and stretch Total 8 minutes

Warm-up

5 min jumping rope – start doing double-unders when you have worked up to it

20 mountain climbers

30 arm circles (each arm)

10 squats

 Stretch – 2 minutes

Your choice

 I have created 3 Workouts to choose from. Do them as fast as you can safely. This will give you a cardio work out as well.

 Workout 1:

Repeat for 10 to 15 minutes – decide before start – do as many reps (1 tme through all four) as you can

10 squats

5 handstands (against a wall)

10 squats

5 burpees

 End with Abs:

20 Crunches

20 side crunches on each side

2 minute Plank

 Stretch

 Workout 2:

Repeat for 10 to 15 minutes – decide before start – do as many reps (1 tme through all four) as you can

10 jump squats

10 side to side jumps over a small object

10 tricep dips

10 box jumps (or stairs)

10 pushups

 End with Abs:

20 sit ups

20 flutter kicks

20 bicycles

2 minute Plank

 Stretch

 Workout 3:

Repeat for 10 to 15 minutes – decide before start – do as many reps (1 tme through all four) as you can

 5 burpees

10 lunges (weight on your heals)

10 sit-up getups

5 short sprints 10 yards each

 End with Abs:

10 weighted sit-ups

20 side to sides

10 Weighted sit-ups

2 minute Plank
